Independent Medicare agency · Byrnes Mill, Missouri
Medicare, explained by someone local.
Sage Benefits LLC compares Medicare plans from multiple carriers, checks your doctors and prescriptions against each one, and stays your agent after you enroll.
What we help with
Start with the part you're stuck on.
Most people call about one piece of Medicare and leave with the whole picture sorted. There's no wrong place to begin.
Medicare Advantage
All-in-one plans that replace how you get Parts A and B, often with drug, dental, and vision coverage bundled in. We check that your doctors are in network before you sign anything.
Medicare Supplement
Plans G, N, and the rest — what each one actually pays, what it costs at your age, and how rate increases have behaved for that carrier in Missouri.
Prescription drug plans
We run your exact drug list through each plan's formulary and pharmacy pricing, because the cheapest premium is often the most expensive plan.
Coverage that fills the gaps
Dental, vision & hearing
Standalone plans for what Original Medicare doesn't cover, and for when an Advantage plan's built-in allowance runs out in March.
Hospital indemnity
Pays you cash per day for a hospital or skilled nursing stay — commonly paired with an Advantage plan to blunt the copays.
Extra Help & Savings Programs
If money is tight, we'll check whether you qualify for help with premiums, deductibles, or drug costs before we talk about plans at all.
When you can make changes
Medicare runs on a calendar.
You can only change plans during specific windows. Here are the ones that apply to most people — call if you're not sure which one you're in.
Initial Enrollment
Your first chance to sign up. Starting early means your coverage is active the month you turn 65 instead of months later.
Annual Enrollment
Switch Advantage or Part D plans for the coming year. Worth a look every fall, since plans change their networks, drug lists, and costs annually.
Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment
If you're already on an Advantage plan, you get one change — switch to a different one or go back to Original Medicare.
Special Enrollment
Moving, losing employer coverage, entering a nursing facility, or a plan leaving your county can each open a window outside the normal dates.
How it works
Three conversations, not thirty.
Tell us what you have
Your doctors, your prescriptions, your budget, and anything that went wrong with your last plan. Ten minutes on the phone is usually enough.
Review real numbers
We come back with a short list showing premium, deductible, drug costs, and network for each — and we tell you where every one of them falls short.
Enroll and keep our number
We handle the application, then check in each fall in case your plan changed underneath you. Calling us later doesn't cost anything either.
